User Manual

Instant Brew

• Step 1: Add water.
• Step 2: Place the filter paper and filter cone.
• Step 3: Add coffee.
• Step 4: Select instant brew.

Brew According to Instructions:

• Step 1: Add water.
• Step 2: Select brewing guide: Rotate the knob and press to select.
• Step 3: Choose brew profile: Rotate the knob and press to select: light roast, medium roast, dark roast, cold brew, etc.
• Step 4: Select brew quantity: Rotate the knob and press to select.
• Step 5: Confirm filter cone placement: Aiden will remind you to use the correct position for the filter cone and shower head. Rotate the shower head selector to one dot for single-serving cones and three dots for batch brewing.
• Step 6: Add filter paper: Place the filter paper in the filter cone.
• Step 7: Add coffee. The display will show the exact amount of ground coffee needed for the desired brew quantity.
• Step 8: Press the button to brew: The remaining time for the brew will be displayed. Listen for the bell (optional) when your coffee is ready."

Note

• Do not place on or near a hot gas stove or electric burner, in a preheated oven, or in a microwave.
• Do not touch the hot surface of the product. Always use the provided handle.
• Be careful to avoid burns when opening the lid during the brewing process.
• Ensure the filter basket and shower head are properly installed to reduce the risk of hot water splashing.
• To protect against fire, electric shock, and personal injury, do not immerse the cord, plug, or any other part of the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Unplug from the outlet when not in use for an extended period and before cleaning.
• This product contains neodymium magnets. Always maintain a safe distance (at least 3.9 in / 10 cm) between the magnets and all objects.
• Do not overfill with water, from 150ml to 1500ml according to the indicator line.
• Do not use containers with magnets on electronic scales. This may affect accuracy or even damage the scale.
• Allow to cool before installing or removing parts and before cleaning the appliance.
• To disconnect from the power source, ensure the appliance is not in use, then unplug from the outlet. Do not pull the cord, as this may damage the cord and potentially cause electric shock.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not move the appliance while in use.
• If placing the water container on a countertop, use a protective mat under the container after it has been filled to avoid damaging the surface.
• To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not remove the bottom cover from the base or disassemble the appliance in any way.

Storage Instructions

• Always unplug the appliance from the outlet before cleaning.
• Allow the coffee maker to cool before cleaning.
• Use only a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior of the coffee maker. Paper towels or abrasive cloths and household cleaners may scratch or damage the finish.
• Do not pour water into the coffee maker or immerse the machine in water for cleaning.
• The single-use and batch brew filter baskets are the only parts that can be washed in the dishwasher. Do not place any other parts of the Aiden Precision Coffee Maker in the dishwasher.

Descaling

• Stagnant water can cause mineral buildup on internal components, affecting the flavor of the coffee as well as the brewing flow and temperature. You should descale regularly, approximately every three months.
• The coffee maker also monitors the amount of water used over its lifetime and will notify the user when descaling is needed.
• When the “descale” notification appears on the display, you should proceed with the descaling process as soon as possible.
• To descale, use a high-quality liquid descaler that is biodegradable and phosphate-free, specifically designed for coffee makers. Fellow does not recommend using vinegar, as it is difficult to rinse completely from the machine and may affect the flavor of the coffee.
• Ensure the coffee maker's water reservoir is empty. Add the liquid descaler to the reservoir at the ratio recommended by the manufacturer (usually about 1:10). Fill the remaining space in the reservoir with water up to the MAX line (1.5 liters).
• Ensure that the batch brew filter basket and carafe are in the correct positions in the coffee maker and are both empty, and that the shower head is set to batch brewing mode.
• Select the Descale mode from the display menu (found under Settings > Maintenance > Descale) and follow the instructions.
• The entire process takes about 30 minutes. During each cycle, the remaining time will be displayed on the screen.
• After the descaling cycle is complete, empty the water from the carafe and rinse it thoroughly.
