Green Coffee Beans Ethiopia Guji Hambela
"Dabaye" is the name of the processing station located in the kebele of Hambela Wamena in the Guji region of Ethiopia. The coffee trees grown in Hambela are situated at altitudes ranging from 1,816 m to 2,100 m.The management and establishment of a processing chain here are continuously and strictly controlled, resulting in coffee beans that are consistently rated for their high quality. The coffee is harvested together with neighboring kebeles Buliye, Wamena, Borticha, Dari Rogicha, and Dame Dabaye, and then brought here for wet processing and drying on raised beds.

Delicious and refined, this wet processing method from Hambela results in impressive sweetness and body, with a gentle first layer of flavor. The dry aroma has a complexity of raw brown sugar, a hint of vanilla, five-spice powder, and a touch of dried fruit.
Roasted at the City level, it has aromas reminiscent of peach, along with vanilla notes and a creamy sweetness. The City and City+ roast levels produce layers of raw sugar sweetness as well as fruit flavors.

While the coffee is still hot, the sweet flavors resemble demerara sugar (unrefined cane sugar with intact molasses) and cream soda, along with a delicate refined taste and a touch of dried fruit at the finish.
As the coffee cools, the prominent flavors of spring peach, yellow lemon cake, and clove emerge in the aroma, with acidity very similar to that of peach.
