Grind Settings

While the perfect grind setting of course varies from coffee to coffee, here are some helpful starting points for your new comandante grinder:
5–10 clicks for turkish.
10–15 clicks for espresso.
15–20 clicks for a bialetti or stovetop moka pot.
22–32 clicks for a pour over filter coffee (depending on dose and brewer).
25–30 clicks for cupping and french press.
30–35 clicks for cold brew.
Aeropress? Well, that depends on your recipe!

How to Use:

Step 1: Adjust the grind size using the adjustment knob and the click settings provided
Step 2: in the manual for your desired brewing method.
Step 3: Remove the top lid and bean hopper to access the burrs.
Step 4: Pour your desired amount of whole coffee beans into the hopper.
Step 5: Reattach the top lid.
Step 6: Hold the grinder steady with one hand and use the other hand to turn the crank handle clockwise.
Step 7: Continue turning the crank handle until the desired amount of coffee grounds is achieved.
Step 8: Remove the glass container from the bottom of the grinder and tap gently to remove any remaining grounds.
Step 9: Transfer the coffee grounds to your brewing device and prepare according to your desired method.
Step 10: Clean the grinder after each use by wiping it down with a dry cloth or cleaning brush.

Please do not adjust or remove the three screws on the bottom of your grinder. They have been carefully and perfectly calibrated by our team of production experts. Doing so could be de-calibrate or even damage your grinder.
