Peru is a country with favorable conditions for growing coffee, with an ideal climate and elevation that helps the coffee beans develop fresh flavors, a delicate combination of fruity aromas and a refreshing bitterness.
The famous coffee growing regions of Peru include Chanchamayo - the eastern slopes of the Andes, the Amazonas region, San Martin, and the southern highlands. Over 75% of the coffee plantations are located on vast high plateaus, at an altitude of 1,000 - 1,800 meters above sea level.
Among them, Peaberry coffee (also known as Culi) is particularly special because it has only one single bean, so the coffee beans will usually have a higher caffeine content and a richer flavor compared to the regular beans of the same variety.
